Easy Audio Editor, offered by DanDans Digital Media, is an extremely compatible product that supports a variety of popular formats and can pull audio from video files. This product can even run on Windows 95, for those with older systems, or on Vista for those with new computers.

This editor can work with most uncompressed or compressed WAV files including PCM, ADPCM, A-LAW, U-LAW, DSP, GSM and more. This software can record anything- it can record anything that is playing on the sound card including streaming audio, internet radio stations, CDs, DVDs, internet conversations or from a line-in. The recording options are easy to find and change. This product can even convert text to speech.

Easy Audio Editor includes all of the basic filters plus a band pass, FFT and a notch filter and supports over 15 preset effects. It has a nice zoom and has comprehensive help pages that cover every feature and tool the product offers.

However, we had to download the trial version three times within one week to evaluate it. It kept disabling itself even though they relate that the trial version is only limited by its save ability, it does not post a time limitation. We found this very frustrating. Because of this, its ease of use score was affected, despite its excellent features. It also took them over a day to respond to our email inquires about our download problems.

Nonetheless, this is an easy to use product and it offers a good selection of features and exceptional record abilities.
